At Blackfin Prints, every artwork is created with care and attention to detail. We take pride in producing premium pieces inspired by Australia's northern waters and landscapes.

If there is an issue with your order, we are committed to working with you to find a fair and timely resolution.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind

As each Blackfin Prints artwork is produced to order, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credits for change of mind purchases.

This includes situations where:

  • You change your mind after placing an order.
  • You order the incorrect size, frame, or artwork.
  • You decide you no longer want the item.
  • You find the item elsewhere at a different price.
  • The artwork does not suit your space or décor.

Custom, Commissioned & Personalised Works

Due to their bespoke nature, custom, commissioned, and personalised artworks cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded once production has commenced.

Design approvals provided by the customer are considered final prior to production.

Artwork Variations

Many Blackfin Prints artworks are handcrafted or produced from original artworks. Minor variations in colour, texture, and finish may occur and are considered part of the unique character of each piece. These variations do not constitute a fault or defect.

Damaged Items

We take great care in packaging our artworks. If your order arrives damaged during transit, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your delivery.

To assist us in resolving the issue, please provide:

  • Your order number.
  • Photographs of the damaged artwork.
  • Photographs of the packaging and any visible shipping damage.

Where appropriate, we may arrange a replacement, repair, or refund.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an artwork that is faulty, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances, Blackfin Prints may:

  • Repair the artwork.
  • Replace the artwork.
  • Provide a full or partial refund.

Return Process

If a return has been approved by Blackfin Prints, we will provide instructions for returning the item.

Items must:

  • Be returned in their original packaging where possible.
  • Be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
  • Include any accessories or components supplied with the order.

Unauthorised returns may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

Where a return is approved due to a fault, defect, damage, or error on our part, Blackfin Prints will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

For all other approved returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at checkout.

Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
